Another Year of Photoshop

Another year of Photoshop has passed, and, as we move in 2012, many of us are challenged to propose a "NEW YEAR RESOLUTION". And, as with last year, I've decided to attempt to push the creative limits of tools I already know, and learn new tools that I'm not familiar with.
Adobe is making the latter easier.
Adobe Photoshop Touch is already out on Android tablets, and will be on my iOS tablet as soon as I'm 'notified' (:get notified for Touch Apps on iOS:) I've already played around a little with Photoshop Touch - and created a simple 'tilt-shift' composition on the Galaxy Tab. I had to return the device before I could dig deep into the application, but one thing I noticed was an option for pressure sensitive stylus settings. !! The Galaxy Tab doesn't allow for pressure sensitivity, but maybe Adobe knows something about other tablets, or future tablets that we don't?
CES is next week, and I'll be reporting about the new tech that we'll see in Las Vegas for NinjaCrayon/creativemac. Not all of what's on display at CES is available to the masses right away - and the same is true for Photoshop Touch on iOS devices. The Android versions are a glimpse at what us iPad users can look forward to.
What will Photoshop Touch App mean to your own Photoshop workflow experience? Post your experiences to the Adobe User Group! We want to hear about it.
Andrew K has done an amazing job keeping the discussions filled with links to all kinds of tutorials for Photoshop. If you're interested in learning something new in 2012, check out some of these posts. They are also a great source for User Group Meeting topics.
Thanks to all for your support, contributions, and even simple check-ins at Adobe Photoshop User Group.
Hope 2012 provides a creatively rewarding time for all of your Photoshop projects!
A BRAND NEW YEAR

Sure, it's already two weeks into 2011.
Sure, it's been a crazy season for touchups, seasonal card design, photo cropping, and setting up extra portfolio galleries.
BUT NOW IT'S TIME TO PUT AWAY THE GIMMICKY NEW YEAR'S HATS, AND GET BACK TO WORK.
I've actually just finished wrapping up a hectic season of "New Years" promo packages (animation), and awards shows graphics - so it seems like a whole new year to me because I missed New Years. But I didn't skip making a resolution for Groups.
This year's resolution is to give Photoshop its due.
We ALL use Photoshop. Some of us use it every day. But do you really give it the recognition it's worthy of? I don't. Photoshop does it ALL, but in our group meetings, sometimes we gloss over it, explaining procedures done in the pipeline as "done in Photoshop". Members like to see those small tricks in Photoshop that make everything become so clean and professional looking (with only an hour's work).
THIS YEAR: During your group meetings, show Photoshop some love. It deserves it.
